Ben Wohlfeil works in the personal injury section of Gomez Trial Attorneys where he represents clients who have been injured or killed by the negligent acts of others.
Ben started his legal career in Alaska as a prosecutor, handling both trial and appellate matters. He started working in rural Alaska where he spent three years prosecuting alcohol-related offenses in Alaska’s dry villages. He then moved to Anchorage where his caseload included murders, assaults, and robberies. He prosecuted aggressively, taking many of his cases to trial and winning convictions. In total, he has tried over 50 jury trials to verdict. He has also conducted oral argument before the Alaska Court of Appeals.
As a personal injury attorney, Ben has continued to aggressively represent his clients. He works on a variety of cases, including products liability, car crashes, and wrongful death cases.
Ben was born and raised in San Diego. He grew up playing basketball and going to the beach. He graduated from Christian High School in El Cajon. He went to college at Valparaiso University in Indiana where he graduated with honors. He then returned home to San Diego for law school. He graduated from California Western School of Law in 2009. His wife, Melissa, is expecting the couple’s first child. His step-daughter, Victoria, is a sophomore in high school.
