For more than ten years,
James S. Iagmin has represented only plaintiffs in catastrophic personal injury and employment related cases. Jim strives not only to achieve extraordinary results for clients, but also to help them cope with personal tragedy and sometimes stressful litigation.
Jim has received substantial mentorship and training from some
of California’s finest trial lawyers.
Jim worked as a law clerk and an Associate Attorney for The Veen Firm, one of San Francisco’s most respected plaintiffs‘ law firms. Under the guidance of attorney
William L. Veen and others, Jim learned to aggressively prosecute catastrophic personal injury cases.
After returning home to San Diego, Jim joined the preeminent law firm of Schoville & Arnell, LLP as an Associate Attorney. For eight years, Jim received mentorship and training on all aspects of numerous, complex personal injury cases, including municipal liability, toxic torts, wrongful death and product liability cases. While at Schoville & Arnell, LLP, Jim participated in the work-up of a product liability case that resulted in a record $369,000,000 jury verdict.
Jim obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Loyola Marymount University, where he earned Dean’s List honors, and his Juris Doctorate at the University of San Francisco.
