Allison Worden is a senior trial attorney who focuses her practice on helping victims of catastrophic personal injuries. She is now heavily involved in the Firm’s “Children’s Rights” division where she fights for the rights of children in schools and other “supervised” environments. Whether it’s physical, sexual, verbal or emotional harm, Allison vigorously litigates on behalf of children and is committed to holding those who harm them accountable.
Allison brings to Gomez Trial Attorneys tremendous trial experience having tried over 80 cases to jury verdict and another 25 bench trials in her 12 years as a Deputy District Attorney in San Diego. As a Prosecutor, Allison investigated and prosecuted all levels of crime including child abuse and molest, domestic violence, elder abuse, sexual assault, vehicular crimes, fraud, property crimes, assault, robbery, gangs, homicides and capital cases.
She earned her Bachelor’s Degree and Juris Doctorate from the University of San Diego. While an undergraduate, Allison was named to the West Coast Conference All-Conference Team as a soccer goalkeeper four years in a row, and was inducted into the San Diego Hall of Champions her senior year after being ranked nationally as a top five goalkeeper. Since 2007, Allison has been an Adjunct Professor for the University of San Diego’s Political Science Department where she teaches Criminal Law, Procedure and Politics.
Giving back to the legal community in which she works is very important to Allison. She is on the Board of Directors for the San Diego Inn of Court, and also serves as an Instructor and Workshop Leader for the San Diego Inn of Court Colleges of Evidence and Trial Advocacy Programs. Most importantly, however, Allison loves spending every free moment with her husband Evan and their two incredible children, Avery and David.
