Kacie Vinel joined The Gomez Law Firm in May 2015. Kacie represents individuals who have suffered from the wrongdoing of others. She believes strongly in giving one-on-one attention to each of her clients in order to produce the best possible results in their cases.
As part of the Firm’s Brain Injury Practice Group Kacie dedicates much of her time to working with survivors of head traumas. She is passionate about providing a voice for those who have suffered brain injuries through no fault of their own.
During law school, Kacie externed for the Honorable Michael M. Anello for the Southern District of California, and clerked for the United States Attorney’s Office in the Criminal Division. After gaining valuable experience in other areas of the law, Kacie found her way to our firm where she enjoys being able to fight for individual people to make a difference in their lives.
Kacie attended the University of San Diego Law School. During her time at USD, Kacie was a writer and board member for the International Law Journal, volunteered with pro bono legal services to assist those who are HIV positive, and competed in the annual AAJ Spring Mock Trial Tournament.
Kacie received her undergraduate degree from Santa Clara University, where she was the team captain for the Broncos’ NCAA Division I tennis team. With her tennis team, Kacie had the opportunity to volunteer with Bay Area Women’s Sports Initiative, focusing on encouraging underprivileged young girls to lead a more active lifestyle.
In her free time, Kacie enjoys cooking, reading, and spending time with her husband Nico. She takes advantage of her adopted home of San Diego by spending as much time outdoors as possible whether it be paddle boarding in the bay, spending time at the beach with her dog, or playing tennis.
