Kristen joined Gomez Trial Attorneys in the summer of 2013 as a law clerk. She is dedicated to the Complex Litigation Department and enjoys the challenges and varied legal issues that abound in the field. She has a strong interest in helping others and is excited to have to opportunity to achieve this goal as an attorney.
Kristen now serves Gomez Trial Attorneys by assisting in: car accidents, truck accidents, motorcycle accidents, pedestrian accidents, brain injuries, sexual assault, child sexual abuse, and wrongful death.
Growing up in San Diego, Kristen has enjoyed an active lifestyle. She loves to be outside, whether at the beach enjoying the sun and swimming, or in the mountains hiking or skiing. She graduated in 2008 from the University of California at Santa Cruz where she majored in Politics with an emphasis in International Politics. After graduation, Kristen stayed in Northern California, and lived and worked in San Francisco while attending the Fashion Institute of Design and Marketing. She graduated in 2009 with a degree in Merchandise Marketing but her interests and passions motivated her to pursue an education in the law.
During her studies at California Western School of Law, Kristen was a recipient of the Creative Problem Solving Scholarship. In her first year, she was a semi-finalist in the 1L Appellate Oral Argument Competition. In her second year, her grades put her on the Deans List for both the Fall 2012 and Spring 2013 trimesters. In Spring 2013, she received the Academic Achievement Award, receiving the highest grade in her class in S.T.E.P.P.S. which is a professional responsibility and legal skills class.
In her free time, Kristen still enjoys getting outside as often as possible and traveling whenever she gets the chance. She also volunteers at The Gathering Youth Ministry, a Catholic youth group focused on relational based outreach to high school and junior high school students in the local community.
