Naomi Pontious is an attorney at The Gomez Law Firm, and a member of the Complex Litigation Team. Naomi joined the firm in 2019.
Naomi graduated magna cum laude from UCLA with dual bachelors’ degrees in both Anthropology and History. After graduating from the University of California, Davis School of Law in 2012, Naomi immediately began practicing as litigator specializing in complex actions. In her first three years of practice, Naomi recovered over $18,000,000 for her clients around the nation, including a $5,000,000 class action settlement. After moving to San Diego in 2016, Naomi refocused her practice on protecting the community, focusing on individual actions, and providing recovery for families who had been harmed through violations of their civil rights, employment rights, privacy rights, and others’ negligence.
Naomi specializes in products liability, consumer rights, sexual abuse/sexual assault litigation, and litigation centered on violations to individuals’ privacy rights. Naomi is a member of the Firm’s dedicated Coronavirus litigation group where she focuses on business interruption insurance litigation for affected businesses. Naomi also has extensive experience in employment rights, and began her practice defending employment rights as a law clerk working for the Department of Fair Employment and Housing while in law school.
