Allison Worden is a Senior Trial Attorney and Partner who focuses her practice on helping victims of catastrophic personal injuries. She is currently the Director of Litigation and leads the firm’s sexual assault, child sexual abuse Practice Group where she vigorously litigates on behalf of victims, and is committed to holding those responsible, accountable.
Allison brings to Gomez Trial Attorneys tremendous trial experience having tried over 100 cases to jury verdict and another 25 bench trials in her 22 years of practice. Prior to joining Gomez Trial Attorneys, Allison served as a Deputy District Attorney in San Diego. As a Prosecutor, Allison investigated and prosecuted all levels of crime including sexual assault, sexual abuse and molest, nursing home abuse, domestic violence, vehicular crimes, fraud, robbery, gangs, homicides and capital cases. Since joining Gomez Trial Attorneys, Allison has resolved hundreds of cases on behalf of her clients with consistent results well into the seven figures.
She earned her Bachelor’s Degree and Juris Doctorate from the University of San Diego. While an undergraduate, Allison was named to the West Coast Conference All-Conference Team as a soccer goalkeeper four years in a row, and was inducted into the San Diego Hall of Champions her senior year after being ranked nationally as a top five goalkeeper. Since 2007, Allison has been an Adjunct Professor for the University of San Diego’s Political Science Department where she teaches Criminal Law, Procedure and Politics.
Giving back to the legal community in which she works is very important to Allison. She is past president and currently sits on the Board of Directors for the San Diego Inn of Court, and also serves as an Instructor and Workshop Leader for the San Diego Inn of Court Colleges of Evidence and Trial Advocacy Programs. Most importantly, however, Allison loves spending every free moment with her husband Evan and their two incredible children, Avery and David.
