
Cristina Murillo

Cristina Murillo grew up in the city of El Centro, California. She moved to San Diego in 2006 to be the first in her family to attend a four-year university.
Cristina attended California Western School of Law as a first-generation law student, graduating magna cum laude. During law school, Cristina externed for the Honorable Anthony J. Battaglia in the United States District Court for the Southern District of California. Cristina was also an Executive Editor on the California Western Law Review. Some of her notable academic achievements include being awarded a 100% academic merit scholarship and receiving numerous academic excellence awards.
Prior to earning her Juris Doctor from California Western, Cristina earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of California, San Diego. Additionally, prior to becoming an attorney, Cristina obtained her paralegal certificate from the University of San Diego with honors. Obtaining her paralegal certificate gave Cristina the confidence and reassurance she needed to pursue her true passion and dream of becoming an attorney.
Her practice at Gomez Trial Attorneys focuses primarily on mass torts litigation against medical device manufacturers and pharmaceutical companies. Cristina is passionate about obtaining justice for individuals injured by exposure to toxic chemicals, dangerous drugs, and other defective products. Cristina specializes in the following cases:
