GTA proudly announces that Founder Attorney John Gomez, Partner Jessica Sizemore, and firm friend Matthew Faulkner obtained a $16.2 million verdict for William and Elaine Kidd this past week in Bakersfield, California. The case involved a slip and fall at an El Pollo Loco. The defense denied responsibility for the fall, instead blaming the bottle of wine the Kidds split earlier that evening. The defense also denied that Mr Kidd continued to suffer harm from the fall. The jury awarded the Kidds $16 million in non-economic damages and found that Mr. Kidd was not negligent. This verdict is only the latest example of multi-million dollar results obtained by our dedicated brain injury practice group. Congratulations to the whole trial team and our very deserving clients, William and Elaine Kidd.
