Jury Awards $2.7M to Car Accident Victim

A San Diego Superior Court jury awarded Robert Mandujano $2.7 million for spinal injuries he sustained in a rear-end collision. Mr. Mandujano was represented by Partner Jeremiah Lowe, and Trial Attorney Victoria Lazar.

In July of 2016, Mr. Mandujano, 47, was sitting in the passenger seat in his son’s Jeep Cherokee on his way home from work when they were rear-ended by a Chevy Silverado truck on the I-5 freeway.

As a result of the accident, Mr. Mandujano experienced severe pain that caused him to miss work and alter his job duties. He underwent a lumbar fusion surgery, causing him to miss four months of work. To this day, he continues suffer constant pain and will require future medical care for his injuries.

The defense refused to pay a policy-limits settlement demand of $500,000.
