Jonathan Kaldas is an employment and labor attorney at Gomez Trial Attorneys, dedicated to championing the rights of individuals in San Diego. Jonathan brings a blend of legal expertise and a passion for debate to his practice.
Jonathan’s journey in debate spans four years in college, where he not only honed his advocacy skills but also achieved national recognition, ranking among the top debaters for two consecutive years. In law school, his commitment to excellence continued as a member of the Appellate Advocacy Team where he won first and second place in nearly every tournament he competed in.
As a proud California Western Law School graduate, Jonathan served as the CEO of the Moot Court Honors Board, demonstrating leadership by coordinating and organizing tournaments to provide students with invaluable oral advocacy experience.
As a first-generation college student and lawyer, Jonathan’s roots trace back to his family’s immigration from Egypt, instilling in him a deep appreciation for hard work and determination. These qualities, coupled with his passion for civil litigation, drive Jonathan to tirelessly assist victims of workplace harassment, discrimination, and wrongful termination.
Beyond the courtroom, Jonathan’s diverse interests include a love for football and basketball, with the Lakers and Chargers holding a special place in his heart. His commitment to community service is evident through his involvement in teaching children, supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities and veterans. These experiences have enriched Jonathan’s perspective, teaching him valuable lessons that he brings to his legal practice.
