[/profileleft] In the second episode of GTA’s Traumatic Brainstorm: A Brain Injury Podcast, Partners Ben Coughlan and Jessica Sizemore cover Mild Traumatic Brain Injury 101. They interview Erica Chavez from BD&J Law, who serves as the Chairman of the Brain Injury Association of California (BIACAL).
To cover the basics of mild traumatic brain injury cases, they break down definitions and statistics. Then sharing the decades of experience working on brain injury cases, they reflect on lessons they’ve learned, including how to find the most valuable witnesses and questions to ask when screening potential clients. They also provide an overview of the neuroimaging and its limitations in MTBI cases and some of the benefits and challenges with neuropsychological testing.
This spring, GTA launched its podcast Traumatic Brainstorm: A Brain Injury Podcast. In the podcast, Partner Ben Coughlan and GTA’s dedicated brain injury practice attorneys examine the growing number of incidents and documentation of brain injuries, seek to increase in public awareness, and rapidly evolving technology and medicine. Each episode will feature an expert to discuss an issue and its impact litigation, the brain injury survivors, and the broader brain injury community.
The podcast can be found on Apple Podcasts, and Spotify.
