On Monday March 31, 2014 GM issued a recall of over 1 million vehicles. The recall is due to a sudden loss of power steering in some older vehicles. Although control of the vehicle can still be maintained, GM says that, extra effort put in by the driver at lower speeds could put the driver at a higher risk of crashing. GM also admits to “not doing enough”, as some of the vehicles listed on their site have previously been recalled for the same issue.
